The Energy Event is one of Europe's largest exhibitions and conferences that focuses solely on energy procurement, management and efficiency, taking place at the National Motorcycle Museum in Birmingham on the 8th and 9th September 2010.

On the evening of the 8th September, The Energy Event is hosting its first annual Awards Dinner at the Hotel Birmingham Metropole Hotel (NEC), where consumers, suppliers and exhibitors will be able to relax with their peers and enjoy outstanding hospitality with a splendid three course dinner including wine and coffee and an exciting awards night where the achievements of consumers and suppliers are recognised.

After dinner, one of the country's most highly regarded and respected comedians, Dominic Holland, who has enjoyed success as both a stand-up comedian and writer and is often see as a panellist on shows including "Have I Got News For You" and "Never Mind the Buzzcocks" will be giving you plenty to smile about as he recounts his sharp observations of everyday life.
